Door types and requirements for Automation
Your door must be in good working condition before being automated. A new door can be supplied if required - please ask for a quote. A Square pin power socket is required in the garage.

FULLY RETRACTABLE DOOR WITH HORIZONTAL TRACKS (any size)
3" minimum headroom required between ceiling and top of door at its highest position for a distance of 9'6" from door frame.

SECTIONAL DOOR WITH HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL TRACKS (any size)
3" minimum headroom required between ceiling and top of door at its highest position for a distance of 9'6" from door frame.

CANOPY TYPE DOOR WITH VERTICAL TRACKS ON DOOR FRAME
Balanced with torsion or tension springs or weights. 5" minimum headroom required between ceiling and top of door at its highest for 9'6" from door frame. Not suitable for double doors (can be converted)
